Days 91-95 – Thailand

January 4-8, 2010 - Hat Ton Sai, Thailand

The five days we spend on Hat Ton Sai are the closest we’ve gotten to a routine since we’ve left.

Every day, with the exception of our rest day, goes like this:

- Wake up at 6:00am

- Buy some banana bread on our way to the climbing wall.

- Begin climbing around 7:15am.

- Climb until 1:00pm-ish, when the sun becomes too hot for climbing.

- Return our gear and grab some lunch.

- Swim in the ocean.

- Sit and read on our front porch.

- Grab some dinner - perhaps with our new chums Becca & Nate.

- Pick-up our climbing gear for the next day – we did half-day rentals.

- Watch a movie.

- Go to sleep.

It is amazing! The climbs are stellar and both Eric and I feel improvement as the week progresses. With the exception of an odd day here and there while in KL and Singapore, we haven’t really climbed since leaving Toronto, so we are completely stoked to be vertical once again!

We love it and are considering heading back down for some more climbing in March if time permits.
